The suite

The suite takes up thegarden level of our house.

It has two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a patio that looks straight into the trees.
Inside

We finished the suite withmid-century furniture anda lot of plants.

You come down the stairs from the driveway to your own entrance at the side of the house. Everything inside is yours for the stay. We live upstairs, and we share the outdoor space and the sauna with you.

Walk through the suiteand out to the sauna.

Turn the model around, zoom in, and tap any room to see a photo of it. The patio runs along the back, and stone steps lead down through the garden to the sauna. Switch to evening to see it with the lamps on.

The living room opens onto the patio.

A gas fireplace sits at one end, and big sliding doors open onto the patio at the other. There's a shelf of books and board games, and the 55-inch TV has Netflix.

02Kitchen and dining

The kitchen is ready for a proper dinner.

We redid it with stainless steel appliances and new counters, and stocked it with the cookware and coffee gear we'd want ourselves. Coffee, tea, olive oil, salt and pepper are waiting for you when you arrive.

03The main bedroom

The main bedroom has a king and its own bathroom.

The mattress is a high-end one and the linens are new. There's a big dresser for your clothes and room-darkening shades for sleeping in. The en suite has a large walk-in shower and a heated floor.

04The second bedroom

The second bedroom sleeps three.

It has a queen with a high-end mattress and new linens, plus a sofa bed for a third person. The second full bathroom has its own walk-in shower and a heated floor.

05Work and laundry

You can get work done here if you have to.

There's a desk with a comfortable office chair, and the fibre internet tested at 719 Mbps. The washer and dryer are in the suite, and we keep detergent and softener stocked.

06The patio

The patio looks straight into the trees.

There are a few places to settle in out there, and one of them is a hammock. The fenced backyard and the sauna are a few steps further, and we share them with you.
